Every Second Matters
Harnessing the Power of Social Media for Good
In the United States, the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) records over half a million missing-person files every year. Recent figures show just how persistent the crisis remains:
-
2023: 563,389 people reported missing
-
2022: 546,568
-
2021: 521,705
-
2020: 543,018
Each of these numbers represents a real person — and a family waiting for answers.

When someone goes missing, time is everything — yet traditional systems are often too slow to mobilize.
Rapid Alert USA changes that.
With one tap, you can:
Instantly send a verified missing-person alert across major social platforms
Geotarget the right people near the last known location
Pre-register loved ones to activate alerts without delay
Mobilize family, friends, and communities in real time
For less than $2 a month, Rapid Alert turns your smartphone into a life-saving network — faster and more connected than emergency systems alone.
We work alongside leading platforms — Meta, X (Twitter), TikTok, and WhatsApp — to spread verified alerts when every minute counts.
We’re also building partnerships with law enforcement, safeguarding organizations, and national charities to strengthen our reach and credibility.
But at the heart of it all, we rely on you — the community.
Every share. Every repost. Every alert seen could mean a life saved.
Together, we can turn connection into action. Fast. Affordable. Trusted. Built to protect the people you love most.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 2.
Register as many people as your plan allows. Registering a person involves submitting their name, description and contact number. A photo is optional but recommended.
Step 3.
When a person has gone missing, press ‘alert’. This will then send an alert to Faceboook, X, and Instagram as well as to WhatsApp users local to where the person has gone missing from. This WhatsApp alert will then go national if the person is not found within 48hrs.
Step 4.
When the registered person is found, tap ‘found’. If a person remains missing, alerts will be automatically re-sent periodically.
